Welcome to the website of the Representative Office of Ireland to the Palestinian Authority. Our office opened in Ramallah in 2000, following the establishment of the Palestinian Authority in 1994. The Representative Office seeks to build on and enhance the relationship between Ireland and the Palestinian people. To that end, the office administers an ongoing Irish Aid programme for the Occupied Palestinian Territories. We also encourage cultural, political, and economic support and cooperation between the Irish and Palestinian people.
